Christopher Roy & Co. is currently working on a majestic 350-acre cattle ranch compound envisioned as a forever home for an East Coast couple. The Sonoma Mountain estate balances the character and romance of a Spanish-colonial-style country house with the warmth, practicality, and permanence of agrarian life.
The team took down the 12,000-square-foot main house to its original foundation and is rebuilding it comprehensively. Kroeger | Janev Architects set the tone with the exterior architecture, while Christopher Roy established the overall interior concept and character through a 150-page interior design set. The firm designed the cabinetry, interior moldings, ceilings, floors, bathrooms, and other architectural details throughout the house, creating a cohesive expression from room to room.
JMA (Jim Murphy Associates) is executing the extensive reconstruction, working closely with the architects, design team, and clients to bring the residence to life.
