With studios in Charleston and Sausalito, Christopher Roy & Co. spans a broad spectrum of design vernaculars, from stately Georgian to the “California Look.” Led by Principal Christopher Roy, the firm creates welcoming, livable, and classically stylish interiors through close collaboration with leading architects, accomplished builders, and specialized artisans.

Christopher says, “At the very least, a home should be two things: beautiful enough to stop you in your tracks, and comfortable enough that you want to kick your shoes off.”

Grounded in a deep appreciation for classical design, preservation, and history, Christopher Roy & Co. is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), the Design Leadership Network, and the Preservation Society of Charleston, among other organizations supporting these causes. The firm is also a member of The San Francisco Fall Show Design Council and a Corporate Sponsor of Drayton Hall’s annual Preview Party at The Charleston Show. In 2022, Christopher Roy & Co. received the ICAA’s Julia Morgan Award.

Most importantly, Christopher believes design should be enjoyable. As he puts it,

“I often remind my clients — and sometimes myself — that if we’re not having fun, we’re doing it wrong.”
